The Precipice is a new zine that is targeting your mind. We are going to hit you head on with amazing writing and art that will open your eyes and broaden your thinking. The Precipice is a mix of editorial writing, fiction and art, rolled into one interactive experience. It's being put together by some of the best writers and artists around.
On the first of each month, The Precipice will dare you to look over the edge, as it presents you with ideas based on a central theme. We're steeped in culture, philosophy and politics, and we're taking a stand against the swelling tide of lowbrow media that's threatening to flood our senses. We're free -- at least for now -- so don't miss out on any issue!

Writers
We need more editorial writers to follow our monthly theme, and delve into current issues with an eye on the politics and culture of the day, going deep into the human psyche with insight and a distinct voice. Our writers are among the best there are, so be warned, lesser writers will be turned (graciously) away.
We also feature amazing fiction that follows the same criteria, so if you're a fiction writer with world-class talent, we'd love to take a look.
We don't need extra editors yet, but we will in the future. If you'd like us to keep you in mind, let us know.
Artists
Every month, we're going to be featuring a different artist. As we're just an eZine, this must be digital art, but how it starts out is up to you. If you have a style that's mature, unique and worthy of complementing our best writers, then send us a link to your portfolio. A single issue will be a lot of work, but it will be a work of permanence, and will become the cornerstone of your portfolio. Feel free to ask any questions.
